Struggling with Binding & Hemming?
Sick of
Unpicking Wonky Attempts ?
Here's How the pros do it.

If you're looking at this Bias Binding Foot, chances are...

  • You can do bindings the traditional way, but would like to a quicker method.
  • You love the neat finish binding gives, but struggle to create a neat result yourself.
  • You're sick & tired of unpicking failed binidng attempts  - there's got to be an easier way!

You're Not Alone. Most People have trouble with Binding & Hemming - because they seem to have a mind of their own.

That's where the headaches start. To get the long snake-y thingie under control, you pin the damned thing. A million times.

And of course - this happens when you go to sew it.  Ouch!

Ask anybody who sews.....

There's NOTHING more annoying than having to pin down your binding or hem a million times....and
when you go to sew them : OUCH!

What if sewing on bias binding  could be easier than you think?

No more "ouch" from pin prick, and NEVER have failed attempts to unpick - ever again?

Often the hard part is to come up with exactly the right tool, for the right job, at the right price. Of course, there is no doubt that in order to create beautiful things, you need to practice.....

But the first step in creating professional finishing is having the right tools.

"I have used all these attachments for several weeks now; since I am new to sewing I took my time in learning how to use them.

First of all they are well-made, apart from the binder foot, they are all metal, smooth and sturdy.

I have a Brother machine and they fit perfectly. Just snap the foot on and off you go!

The rolled hem attachments are awesome, a must have. Your hems come out perfect and you have three sizes to choose from!

The binder foot was a little tricky to use at the start, but that was my lack of experience . After a few practice runs I got the hang of it.

Overall, they are very nice and do their job well. I can't believe how professional my work looks now!"

- Jan, a Happy Customer

Is this a Genuine Janome Foot?

Unlike some others in the market, this foot is made by the same people that makes branded sewing machine parts. At the same factory where sewing machine companies gets their parts made and packaged - located only a few minutes down the road from one of the BEST sewing machine factory in Taiwan.

This company is a third-generation family business that specialises in presser feet and parts. They are one of the few  certified makers for well-known sewing machine brands. That means you can trust the quality too.

I've personally visited the factory to verify for myself. I was genuinely impressed because of their a high quality assurance of Japanese standard - where the best sewing machines are still being made.

The  only difference is in the packaging - we had ours packaged under our own brand.

This means I'm  100% happy and confident that you and your sewing machine are in safe hands - because I recommend this foot to all my students, and use it for my own sewing too!

So do our happy customers - here's  just one of many reviews:
"Hi...

Just want to say a Huge belated 'Thank You'.... I waited to try your foot first... because I previously bought a 'cheap' (very cheap) foot a few weeks ago elsewhere... and it broke after a few uses.

Your foot feels solid and seems much better quality...and works a lot smoother...and you posted it out so fast I got my project finished quickly....so Thank You!!"

- Niamh from Mortdale, New South Wales 2223

NOTE: You May Have Seen a "Cone" Shaped Metal Attachment for Bias Binding.

That looks nothing like this one here. So what's the difference?

Well, Here's what a budding seamstress finds when she tried on the "cone" type:

"I was so excited about my new binding foot with a metal cone, I couldn't wait to test it out... but I was soooo disappointed....it's not adjustable so only one width of binding can slot into it.

That means I'm stuck to work with just one size binding!

So, determined not to let this set back deter me, I went directly to eBay and ordered one. My new adjustable foot arrived and it's soooo easy to use and I love it!"

- Angela, a Happy Customer

What makes this feet set "universal"? How does it adjust?

Take a closer look, you will see two adjustable screws or "dials" on the binding foot.

The screw or "dial" closest to the red marking is where you can make adjustments to suit the width of your binding (which has been pressed into its finished size ready to go).

As you move the screw or "dial" in or out, you will see the slot in front of the presser foot change size...

This is the slot where you "feed" your binding through.

The red markings are in millimeters (mm), so it's easy to adjust it to suit bindings with widths that ranges from 5mm to 18mm (see note below)*.... this means you're covered for most sewing projects imaginable!

And here are some of the best kept secret to impossibly neat rolled hems (in wider width than your standard narrow hem)!!

With no hand sewing required, you will be amazed at how much you can do by machine!

Sure, there are LOTS of different methods of finishing your raw edges - you can blind hem, overlocked and then fold over twice, use a contrast fabric, or even leaving it raw....

But there are many cases where you simply cannot beat a classic rolled hem - all smooth, neat, and incredibly professional looking. Your handmade garments will no long look "home-made"!!

While the RED markings on the bias binding foot show 5-10-15-20mm, the maximum binding width it can do is 17-18mm.

So if you absolutely NEED to make 20mm (2cm) bindings, then this foot will NOT go that far (not sure why they put the marking there in the first place).

The maximum measurement is in fact 17-18mm (which covers most store-bought binding widths anyway).

How to use the metal rolled hem feeders?

Get your binding foor and simply take the screw off the foot itself (you will be left with the actual foot and one screw, see above). Next, choose a metal feeder out of the three sizes (see below), and slide the "arm" of the metal feeder onto the horizontal metal bar on the right hand side of the foot.

Put the screw back in place, adjust the metal feeder left or right until you find the perfect position for the job at hand (you might want to do this with the foot on the machine). Once you're happy with the position, tighten the screw, clip the foot on you machine, and get sewing. It's that simple!

How do you work out the correct binding width & adjust the foot accordingly?

First, measure your binding folded , as if it is already finished. That's your binding width.

The true "reading" should be at the end of the screw (you can see it through the plastic), and NOT the faint line which is the edge of the plastic guide (they looks like two little triangles when you look at the foot from the front). Hope you can see from the picture above....

So when you adjusted the foot to the maximum it will go, it actually looks like there is a line that stops at just over 10mm (that's the faint line mentioned above), but if you look at it from the front (where the bindings go in), there is more room for a wider binding.

The end of the screw finishes a bit over the 15mm marking. It won't go any further because there is no more thread on the screw. So does that mean you can only do bindings up to 15mm wide? Not necessarily.

If you measure the actual slot width, from the little folded "lips" on the left hand side to the end at the right hand side, and the maximum measurement is in fact 17-18mm (which covers most store-bought binding widths anyway).

Now, what does that other screw or "dial" do?

It determines the needle position, in relation to where your stitching goes on your binding or hems.

Would you like it really close to the edge? Or a bit further?

You can change this by adjusting this screw / dial and move the clear feeder left or right to suit, or if your machine allows change your needle position instead.

Ok, binding folded ready to go. What to do next?

Now, feed your binding through the slot....

..... and insert your fabric BETWEEN the opening of your binding and start sewing.

It's as simple as that!

TIP: You might find it easier if you feed the binding through the slot BEFORE installing the foot on your machine.

This method may or may not suit your project, because each fabric is different. Give yours a try.....

So, How Much Would YOU Expect to Pay for this Set?

Not nearly as much as you think.....

How long will it take to receive my order?

All fully paid orders placed by 5pm Monday to Thursday will be processed overnight and ready to send by our warehouse - normally the next day or following business day.

Orders placed on Friday and Weekends will be processed on Sunday night - because our warehouse operates Monday to Friday except Public Holidays.

Once it leaves our warehouse, the actual time frame is up to the delivery services. This can vary depending on your location and road conditions.

Any delivery time estimates shown are estimates only - so please use it as a guide line.

You'll receive a few email updates from our system as your order progresses, so please stay tuned on these!

secure paymentHow will my order be sent?

We use a dispatch system that works out the most efficient way to send your order.

This way the postage works out fair and reasonable, and your parcel reaches you quickly as well - because we know you can't wait!

That means your parcel may reach you by either Courier or Aust Post.

In general, larger items tend to be delivered by couriers, while small items tend to go by Aust Post.

How is my postage calculated?

Great question.

Depending on weight and dimension, some times we are able to do Flat Rate across Australia, so the postage is the same no matter where you are.

Other times we use the Built-in Calculated system provided by Aust Post, and your postage is calculated based on YOUR location.

Can I get it delivered to my P.O. Box?

Depends on the item (and its dimensions), because Aust Post have size restrictions and couriers are NOT allowed to deliver to a P.O. Box.

Please check with us when in doubt.

If you have nominated a P.O. box, and the item is within Aust Post size, then it will go by Aust Post. Most of the time, this is the case.

When your item is too big, or being sent directly from our supplier, then we need you to provide a physical address so we can send a courier.

Can I get my order sent to a different delivery address?

Your sure can!

When you check out, you can choose to ship your order to your billing address or a different address.

Simply choose the second option, and then fill in the shipping address of where you want you parcel sent.

Please double check we have Your Correct Address so your order can find its way to you!

What if courier services are not available in my area?

Some locations are outside of courier services....

In these cases we CAN arrange for your order to be deliverd to your local post office.

But please provide us with a street address (street number & name) - even if it is the only Post Office in town - as if it is an office address.

A phone number would help too - this will avoid delays.

What if I need my order urgently?

No worries, we will do our best. Just let us know.

Please give us as much notice as possible - especially for special occasions like birthdays!

In most cases, we CAN arrange an upgrade from Regular Post to Express Post for a little extra.

Please contact us first so we can update your invoice to show the correct amount.

Do you offer combine shipping?
I want to order more than one item...

Sure! Please "Add to Cart" for all the items you want and let the system work it out for you.

If you're unsure, let us know. A quick message is all we need.

This way we can double check the postage for you. Simple!

Can I pick up my order?

No. Sorry - unless you're picking up furniture directly from our supplier.

Because most of our items are located in a commercial warehouse - with NO public acess.

There is no shop front - because that's how we can pass on the savings to you!

Love them!
By: on 3 January 2022

HI Shelly I love them, the rolled hem feet are brilliant, the bias binding perfect, I am making a top where I have hemmed two standing collars, it has two bottom layers, which are hemmed and I have hemmed the facings, (maybe going a bit far). I even put off sewing this till they arrived. This has speed up my sewing, and working 12 hours a day I need all the help I can get. The bigger rolled hem feet for different projects, and I am running hem on my Brother VQ300 and it has no issues with them. Thanks for providing the Direct Deposit option, I would prefer 100% to directly transfer the money. Cheers Ros Murray

time saving hemming
By: on 7 December 2020

The time i am saving using these feet and having a continuous hem is amazing, the final results even going around a curve is fantastic. i have seen it is hard to run the fabric through a seam, but if i cut most away and push through with tweezers slowly it works a treat. Took a few goes on how to feed, and what works for me is to fold the fabric through the foot, pin it and then attach to the machine and run the fabric back and forward to make sure it is wrapping around properly. The bias binding foot great, which is why i purchased this set, but i am in love with the rolled hem attachments.
